The rules for using PixelStory Studio. There are few of them and they are in plain language.

What this is

PixelStory Studio is the home of the Pixel History channel: we tell true stories in isometric pixel art. Here you can see the studio work and, if you sign up, be part of the community.

Right now the site is free and sells nothing. If that ever changes, these terms will be extended first.

Your account

To sign up you must be at least 14 and give truthful details. You are responsible for what happens with your account, so look after your password and tell us if you think someone else has got into it.

The early places and community roles handed out at this stage are a recognition, not an acquired right nor an asset that can be sold or transferred.

How to behave

Within the community, the following is not allowed:

  • Harassing, threatening or disrespecting other people.
  • Hateful, violent or sexual content.
  • Impersonating another user or the studio team.
  • Trying to break, overload or break into the site or other people accounts.
  • Spam, unsolicited advertising or scams.

The art is ours

All the pixel art, animation, text and code on this site belong to the studio and its authors. You may share and link to the site as much as you like; what you may not do is reuse the art in your own projects, sell it, or use it to train artificial intelligence models without written permission.

Third-party names and logos that appear (YouTube, Google and others) belong to their owners.

The icons on the stops of the progress bar are from the "Free Medieval Fantasy UI Pack" by Kibyra (kibyra.itch.io), used under its license; the castle one has been recoloured by us.

What we do not guarantee

The site is provided as is. We take care to keep it working, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults. It is a young project under construction, and some parts will change.

Closing accounts

You can delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you unless doing so would cause a legal or security problem.

Governing law
